I have realized that I haven’t posted anything in close to a month! And I’m really sorry for that, but I’ve actually been sick the past two weeks. Me and my health again…
This week for IF, the theme is Moustache, so I just quickly sketched something on Paper. It turned out nicer than I thought, considering it was done in less than five minutes!
Strangely, I always think of fancy waiters as having moustaches, which is quite stereotypical of me. And stereotypes are always quite bad! Nevertheless, I think this little caricature is quite cute.
This week’s IF theme: Swim. I drew (more like doodled) this on the Paper app while waiting for a doctor’s appointment. Hope you like it!
This week’s IF theme: whispers. I realized I hadn’t done an iPad drawing in a long time, so I did this one in the Paper app. They have allowed color mixing! Hurrah! (Though I didn’t use that feature for this piece…)
This week’s IF theme is Snow – just in time for Christmas! It’s been 10 years since I’ve had my White Christmas, but I still remember it with clear fondness. Here’s my illustration for this week: a little tree standing alone in the snow. It was done in the Paper app, this time with a stylus! The stylus made drawing so much easier.
This reminds me a bit of that last scene in the movie A Charlie Brown Christmas. How I do love that movie! I watch it every year with my family and it manages to warm my heart every time.
This week’s IF theme is ‘whiskers’. Here’s a little cheese-loving friend for you! This was done in Paper app. K
I’ve just drawn a quick piece on the iPad using the Paper app. It’s a really great app with beautiful art tools (which you need to buy, though.) The only thing I find frustrating is the lack of zoom in/out tools, brush size changes, and layers. Still, it’s a fun app to experiment with during your free time.
This also ties in with the Illustration Friday theme: haunt.
