Second Day in Paris

As soon as I woke up, I was so excited! What better way to start of my Paris vacation than the center of art, the landmark of Paris, the modern and antique wonder of the world? That’s right, the Louvre!!! It was only a 5 minute walk from our apartment so we strolled along, passing the Jardin de Tuileries. We arrived and I was so surprised: even the outside was cool! The pyramid in the center and the royal castle in the background… So amazing!!! Inside the pyramid (or the Louvre, more like it, though at the entrance it’s hard to feel that you’re in a museum…) the light from outside made a prism of color on the floor! It was quite pretty. But more importantly, the paintings! The sculptures! The artifacts! I must show you!!!

Amazing, isn’t it? I can’t tell you how awe-stricken I was when I gazed at all those monuments… After a couple hours of admiring, we became very hungry and looked around for a place to eat, preferably in the museum itself. We chose the ‘Cafe Richelieu‘ and the food was quite nice! I give it a 1 star as the food was neat and delicious at the same time! The rating might have to do with the view (the Outside Louvre picture) as it was totally beautiful. It was amazing! After a couple of more hours of gazing in wonder, we left. It was a great experience.
